The property in brief 簡評：

酒色深紫色。不引人注意, 但有股裹有糖霜 (crystallized) 的水果烤香味。具有吐司，香料(vanilla) 和黑葡萄果醬的微妙醇香。單寧酸柔滑、平衡和韻味長。屬長熟型红烈酒。

Extremely intense and deep color. Purple tints. A first discreet smell of crystallized fruits and toasted aromas. The olfactory feelings are intensifying with aeration. Notes of toast, spices and dark grape jam are delicately delighting the nose. The entry is round and soft and is extended with red berries and vanilla aromas. The tannins are silky; the palate is balanced and long.

Tasted on three separate occasions, this 2001 did not perform nearly as well from bottle as it did from cask. A blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc, it exhibits aromas reminiscent of a Starbuck espresso, melted licorice, black currants, cherries, cedar, a notion of dried herbs, and elevated oak. With attractive texture and firm tannin in the finish, it requires 2-3 years of cellaring, and should drink well for 14-15. While it is an excellent, medium-bodied Pauillac, it is nowhere near as impressive as I anticipated from cask. Very lively and intense color. The aromas of this wine express themselves after putting it in decanter two hours before service. This wine will please the lovers of Medoc for ageing wines. Its power in mouth, its density associated to the very present and ripe tannins are softening a discreet woody.
